Bridge

Move $LAVI between Ethereum and Base via Superbridge.

Introduction

Superbridge is a user-friendly platform that facilitates seamless bridging of Ether (ETH) and ERC-20 tokens between Ethereum and various Layer 2 rollup networks, including those built on the OP Stack such as Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, and others. By leveraging the native bridge contracts of these rollups, Superbridge ensures secure and efficient asset transfers across supported networks.

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of bridging $LAVI from Ethereum to Base using Superbridge.

Bridging $LAVI to Base

1. Head to Superbridge

Follow this link to the Superbridge.

2. Connect your wallet

Use a Web3-compatible wallet (e.g. MetaMask) that holds your LAVI tokens on the Ethereum network. Ensure your wallet is connected to the Ethereum mainnet.

3. Import the LAVI token

In the Superbridge interface, open the token search modal by clicking the currently selected token.

4. Initiate the bridging process

Finally, make sure Ethereum is the source chain and Base is the destination one. Enter the amount of LAVI you want to bridge and proceed with the transactions. Wait until the whole process is over. At such point, you will have your LAVI tokens on Base. It takes about 3 minutes to complete.

Bridging ETH to Base

In case you don't have ETH on Base yet, you should bridge a small amount in order to pay for gas fees on the L2. Just follow the same steps as above, but this time select ETH as the token to bridge.

Bridging back to Ethereum

Follow the same steps as above, but this time select Base as the source chain and Ethereum as the destination. Note that bridging back $LAVI from Base to Ethereum takes up to 7 days.
